SCROLL

Charterhouse is delighted to celebrate an exceptional set of GCSE results, with 84% of all grades awarded at 7-9 and an average grade of 7.74 across the cohort. These outcomes represent Charterhouse's strongest GCSE results in a decade of consistently outstanding performance.

More than 70% of our pupils achieved eight or more grades at 7 or above, while 29 pupils achieved all grades at 8 and 9. Of these, five achieved the exceptional distinction of gaining ten or more Grade 9s.

Particularly notable were the results across the sciences and humanities, with more than 90% of grades awarded at 7-9 in Ancient History, Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Greek, Physics, Religious Studies, and Sports Science.

These outstanding results reflect a cohort distinguished not only by academic ambition, but also by its full engagement with School life. Their success has been built on intellectual curiosity, perseverance, and a willingness to embrace opportunities both inside and beyond the classroom. Whether their passions lie in science, medicine, languages, the creative arts, engineering, or emerging technologies, they have laid strong foundations for future success.

These results are a remarkable achievement and reflect both the academic ability of this cohort and the energy with which they have embraced every aspect of Charterhouse life. We are proud not only of what they have achieved, but of the way they have achieved it, with curiosity, commitment, and generosity towards the wider School community.

Alongside their academic success, pupils have made outstanding contributions across the School community, from the acclaimed performance of Bach's St Matthew Passion and impressive achievements in this year's Pontifex, to the roof-raising production of We Will Rock You. Whether in music, drama, sport, service, leadership, or House life, they have enriched the School through their energy, commitment, and character.

As they move into the Sixth Form, pupils will choose between A Levels and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, selecting the pathway best suited to their strengths and aspirations. This flexibility remains a defining feature of Charterhouse, enabling every pupil to pursue an individual route to academic and personal success.

We warmly congratulate every Carthusian on their achievements and look forward to seeing them build on this success as they embark on the next stage of their Charterhouse journey.
